Големиот Велигденски пост започнува нa денот после Прочка (03 / 03 / 2025), нека ни е благословен и лесен. Овој пост е посветен за подготовка и во чест и спомен на воскресението на нашиот Господ и Спасител Исус Христос. Христос воскресна од мртвите и со Неговата смрт ја уништи смртта, а со Него и сите ниe, кои веруваме и одиме по Него, да наследиме воскресение и живот вечен. Оваа зададеност Бог му ја дал на човекот уште во рајот за што требал да исполни само една заповед, да се воздржува, т.е. да пости. Ако постот му бил потребен на човекот во рајот за да дојде до целта тогаш уште повеќе во оваа земја на оттуѓеност и богоотстапништво.

In the Creed, we confess that Christ will come again. He came once as a servant, as an ordinary man, and the second time He will come as the King of Glory, as the Judge. 

God created us in His divine image and likeness and granted each of us the freedom to decide how we will live, what the quality of our life will be, and how we will direct our lives. Especially for us Orthodox Christians, He has given the fullness of the gift of the Holy Spirit, providing the most favourable conditions for our spiritual growth and advancement – but with that also comes the greatest responsibility. 

The quality of our life depends on our decisions and actions, and according to them, the Lord will judge us. Where we will stand on Judgment Day – on His left or right side – whether we will enter the eternal communion with God, prepared for us since the beginning of creation, or be cast into the eternal torment prepared for the demons, depends greatly on us. The way we have lived, the deeds we have done, will determine our eternal destiny. 

Nothing on earth is eternal; everything is temporary. Every person will face death, and as Scripture says, the earth will be burned, and there will be a new heaven and a new earth, and our life will take on a new quality (becoming a fully spiritual existence). God did not create anything to perish, especially us, whom He made in His image and likeness – He created us for eternal life. This is the truth: God created man for eternal life and eternal joy, which comes from communion with Him and His full-of-grace energies. 

After the fall, death became a necessity. God does not want evil to rule or exist forever. Therefore, every person will experience death, and after death comes judgment. This is inevitable and should always be in our minds. This is why the very wise St. Basil the Great said that remembering death is the greatest philosophy, the greatest wisdom in this world. The problem arises when we forget about death, consider ourselves immortal, and become blinded and consumed by earthly pleasures – deceptions that lead us downward rather than upward on the spiritual path toward perfection in Christ. Instead of growing spiritually, we descend, becoming like irrational beasts (livestock) – or worse, even like demons.

Во Символот на верата исповедаме дека Христос повторно ќе дојде. Еднаш дојде како слуга, како обичен човек, а вториот пат ќе дојде како Цар на славата, како Судија.

Бог не’ создал според Неговиот божествен образ и подобие, и на секој му даде слободата со која одлучуваме како ќе живееме, каков ќе биде квалитетот на нашиот живот и како воопшто ќе го одвиваме нашиот живот. Посебно на нас Православните христијани ни ја дари полнотата на дарот на Светиот Дух и ние имаме најповолни услови да се развиваме и напредуваме, но со тоа и најголема одговорност.

Квалитетот на нашиот живот зависи од нашите одлуки и дела, според нив Господ и ќе ни суди. Тоа каде ќе припаднеме на судот после смртта, од Неговата лева или десна страна, односно во вечноста подготвена за нас уште од почетокот на соданието во заедница со вечниот Бог или во вечните маки подотвена за демоните, зависи најмногу од нас. Според тоа како сме го поминале животот, односно, какви биле нашите дела и таков ќе биде и нашиот вечен живот.

Овде на земјата ништо не е вечно, се е привремено. Секој човек ќе претрпе смрт и земјата како што се вели во Светото Писмо ќе биде изгорена и ќе има нова земја и ново небо и нашиот живот ќе добие нов квалитет (ќе биде потполно духовен живот). Господ што создал, не створил за да пропадне, посебно нас кои што не створил според Неговиот образ и подобие, не створил за живот вечен(егзистенција). И тоа е вистината дека Бог го створил човекот за вечен живот, за вечна радост. А вечна радост доаѓа од заедницата со Бог. Со Неговите благодатни енергии.

После падот, смртта постана неопходност. Господ не сака да допушти злото да владее и да егзистира вечно. Затоа секој човек ќе доживее смрт, а после смртта следува суд. Тоа е неизбежно и треба да го имаме секогаш на ум. Затоа и премудриот Свети Василиј Велики ќе рече дека сеќавањето на смртта е најголемата философија, најголемата мудрост во овој свет. Проблемот настанува кога ние забораваме на смртта, се мислеме бесмртни, се заслепуваме и преокупираме со овоземните наслади, поточно измами и наместо да се искачуваме духовно по скалата до совршенството до мерата Христова, ние слегуваме надолу, стануваме како бесловесните скотови и уште полошо, дури како демоните.

This parable tells of a (good) father and two sons who lived on his property. One of them, the younger one, asked for “his” share of the property and then left for a foreign country, while the elder one stayed to work on his father’s property. The father in the parable represents the only Omnibenevolent God, and in the two sons we recognise all people. The first part of the parable talks about the younger son who left his father for a “distant country”, so when he found himself “in tribulation” he repented and returned to his father’s courtyard. The other part of the parable tells about the relationship of the elder son who stayed on his father’s property and did not break any of his commandments.

The first part of the parable of the prodigal son should be quite clear. However, the other part that talks about the elder son seems a little hidden and we don’t pay enough attention to it. It is true that the main theme of the story is about the prodigal son, but the part about the righteous son also needs to be given importance. For if we pay greater attention, we will see that both of them renounced their father in their own time. The difference is that one of them renounced their father, then repented and returned, the other stayed with his father all the time, but in the end he “was angry at him” and stayed out of the community of his father, his brother and all the relatives who participated in the table of the fattened calf, that is, he remained outside the Church and the Holy Eucharist.
