Holy Fifteen Hieromartyrs of Tiberiopolis (Strumica)
The activation or actualization of the grace of Baptism in our spiritual heart usually occurs in two ways: either by the act of Baptism itself or a long (large)period of time thereafter. There are also other extraordinary ways.
The activation of grace by the act of Holy Baptism itself took place regularly in the early (first) Church: when people were baptized as adults and, at that time there was a three-year preparation before Baptism. During the preparation, the catechumens were taught to purify their hearts from the passions and they truly purified their hearts from the passions, so that, in the end, they truly saw the Sacrament of Baptism as enlightenment (of the mind) and, of course, their hearts were open to a prayerful descent of the mind into it. But let us not overlook the fact, that even more important than the preparation for Baptism at that time was the open persecution of Christians, when everyone who was baptized was aware that he was likely to suffer even unto execution.

Активирањето или актуaлизирањето на благодатта на Крштението во нашето духовно срце вообичаено се случува на два начина: или со чинот на самото Крштение или голем (долг) временски период потоа. Постојат и вонредни начини.
Активирањето на благодатта со чинот на самото Свето Крштение редовно се случувало во првата Црква: кога луѓето се крштевале возрасни и кога пред тоа Крштение имало тригодишна подготовка. За време на подготовката катихумените биле подучувани во очистувањето на срцето од страстите и на дело го чистеле своето срце од страстите, така што, на крај, навистина Светата Тајна Крштение ја доживувале како просветлување (на умот) и, секако, срцето им било отворено за молитвено симнување на умот во него. Но, да не превидиме, уште поважно и од подготовката е што тоа време било време на отворен прогон на христијаните, кога секој што се крштевал бил свесен дека најверојатно и ќе пострада.

Today’s festive gospel reading (John 1: 35–51) is another historical testimony and a concrete example of a perfect prayerful union and relationship between God and man; testimony of a fulfilled prayer.
When Christ says to Nathanael, “When you were under the fig tree, I saw thee,” in fact, He reveals to him Who has heard him, but also Who has answered the prayer while he was praying under the fig tree. And Nathanael with his answer: “Rabbi! You are the Son of God, You are the King of Israel! ”- reveals and testifies to us that, in the God-Man Jesus Christ he recognizes the One to whom he prayed and Whom he only sought in his prayer – the Son of God and the King of Israel, the expected Messiah.

Денешново празнично евангелие (Јован 1, 35–51) е уште едно историско сведоштво и конкретен пример на совршена молитвена заедница и однос помеѓу Бог и човекот; сведоштво за исполнета молитва.
Кога Христос му вели на Натанаил: „кога беше под смоквата, Јас те видов“, всушност, му открива Кој го слушал, но и Кој му одговорил на молитвата додека тој се молел под смоквата. А Натанаил со својот одговор: „Рави! Ти си Син Божји, Ти си Царот Израилев!“ – ни открива и ни сведочи дека, во Богочовекот Исус Христос Го препознава Оној Кому се молел и Кого единствено Го барал во молитвата – Синот Божји и Царот Израилев, очекуваниот Месија.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10, 7-10).
Christ’s words “I am the door” have two meanings. One meaning; the ontological, essential or existential, is that we should first be united with God, that is, we should be baptized and clothed in Christ, participate in the death and resurrection of Christ, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, partake of the Body and the Blood of Christ, to become the Body of Christ, to become a new being.
