The way of those who please God is strange, and when God wills, then He glorifies them. Everything is in accordance to the will of God, it is important that we follow Him, i.e. to cooperate, to participate in the great plan of God, and He will lead our life wherever He wants, or to be more precise, wherever it is necessary for our salvation and the salvation of others. Thus, with this newly revealed Saint of ours, the Venerable Joanikij from Rakotinci (Rakotinski), who was modest, peaceful, dedicated to his work, God did not leave him to be hidden from us, He made manifest to us his holy life for our instruction and betterment of our spiritual life in Christ.

The life of our Venerable Father Joanikij is so obscured, and at the same time so revealed. Until recently no one knew about this Holy Venerable Father, and no great detail was known, except some scarce personal data about his life-journey. Miraculously, by exposing his incorruptible relics on the surface of the earth, God made manifest this holy man to us and our interest in him grew. The ascetics do not desire glory, but God thinks of everyone, especially for us who are weak and not well-established in the faith, who need beacons and miracles in order to bring us, guide us and light up the path of God.

Чуден е патот на Божјите угодници и кога ќе сака Бог, тогаш и ги прославува

Чуден е патот на Божјите угодници и кога ќе сака Бог, тогаш и ги прославува. Се е по волјата Божја, важно е ние да го следиме, т.е. да соработуваме, да учествуваме во големиот план Божји, а тој ќе го поведе нашиот живот каде што сака или поточно каде што е потребно за наше спасение и спасението на другите. Така и со овој наш новобјавен светител, преподобниот Јоаникиј Ракотински, скромен, мирен, посветен на својата работа, Бог направил да не биде скриен од сите нас и да ни го објави неговиот свет живот за наша поука и надградување во духовниот живот во Христос.

Животот на препoдобниот отец наш Јоаникиј е во толку скриен, а истовремено и во толку објавен. За овој свет преподобен Отец, до скоро никој не знаеше и не се знаеше ништо особено, освен некои оскудни лични податоци за неговиот животен пат. На чудесен начин, преку објавување на неговите нетрулешни мошти на површината на земјата, Бог ни го објави и овој свет човек, a нашиот интерес за него се зголеми. На подвижниците не им е потребна славата, но Бог промислува за секого, а особено за нас слабите и неутврдени во верата на кои им требаат светилници и чуда за да ги приведува, води и им го осветлува патот Божјиот.

Некои луѓе стварно имаат проблем со својот разум. Нивниот разум не е духовен. И, тоа е очигледно. Патем, едно е духовен, а сосем друго интелектуален разум; самите ќе разберете понатаму. Како настанува проблемот со разумот?

Во денешното евангелие читаме: „Оттогаш почна Исус да проповеда и да говори: ’Покајте се, зашто се приближи Царството Небесно!‘“ (Матеј 4, 12–17).

 Some people really have a problem with their reason (nous). Their nous is not spiritual. And, that is obvious. By the way, it is one thing to have spiritual nous (reasoning), and intellectual reasoning is quite another thing; you will understand this further in the text. How does the problem of nous arise?

In today’s Gospel reading we read: “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say; Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4: 12-17).

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world upon Himself!”

Yes, a fallen man cannot save a fallen man, but the God-Man Christ saves the fallen man. And He saves him through the whole Dispensation of our salvation, from the incarnation, through death and resurrection, and all the way to His glorious ascension and sitting at the right hand of the Father. He saves all of Adam (humanity) through His Body, the Church, being made alive by the Holy Spirit, the Lord on the day of Pentecost. He saves all fallen humanity through the Holy Mysteries and the holy virtues of the Holy Spirit, in the Church. . And He saves those that are willing to be saved.

“This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.'”

In other words: after me comes Man – the God-Man Christ, Who was before me, before I was made manifest, as the Word and Son of God, Who, before ages, is born from the Father; for Whom I have told you that I lead you to Him – not to myself, because I received you as a gift from Him, because He IS the true God and the true Man.

He IS the only One and therefore we can exist; and that is why we exist, because God created us out of love, out of love He keeps us in existence, out of love He saves us and out of love He gave us the Kingdom of Heaven – the uncreated Grace of the Holy Spirit God. God has given us both life form (being), and gracious–being, and eternal gracious-being, and we exist. And God is One.
