Јас сум лозата, а вие прачките; и кој е во Мене, и Јас во него, тој ќе даде многу плод; оти без мене не можете да правите ништо. Како што ме возљуби Отецот, и Јас ве возљубив вас. Бидете во Мојата љубов! Ако ги запазите Моите заповеди, ше останете во љубовта Моја. како што Јас ги запазив заповедите на Мојот Отец и останувам во љубовта Негова. Ова ви го реков, за да остане радоста Моја во вас, и радоста ваша да биде полна. Ова е Моја заповед, да се љубите еден со друг, како што ве возљубив Јас. Никој нема поголема љубов од оваа: даја положи душата своја за своие пријатели.
This parable tells of a (good) father and two sons who lived on his property. One of them, the younger one, asked for “his” share of the property and then left for a foreign country, while the elder one stayed to work on his father’s property. The father in the parable represents the only Omnibenevolent God, and in the two sons we recognise all people. The first part of the parable talks about the younger son who left his father for a “distant country”, so when he found himself “in tribulation” he repented and returned to his father’s courtyard. The other part of the parable tells about the relationship of the elder son who stayed on his father’s property and did not break any of his commandments.
The first part of the parable of the prodigal son should be quite clear. However, the other part that talks about the elder son seems a little hidden and we don’t pay enough attention to it. It is true that the main theme of the story is about the prodigal son, but the part about the righteous son also needs to be given importance. For if we pay greater attention, we will see that both of them renounced their father in their own time. The difference is that one of them renounced their father, then repented and returned, the other stayed with his father all the time, but in the end he “was angry at him” and stayed out of the community of his father, his brother and all the relatives who participated in the table of the fattened calf, that is, he remained outside the Church and the Holy Eucharist.
Во оваа парабола се раскажува за еден (добар) татко и два сина кои живееле на неговиот имот. Едниот од нив, помладиот, го побарал „својот“ дел од имотот и заминал во туѓа земја, а постариот останал да работи на имотот на татко му. Таткото во параболата го претставува единиот добар Бог, а во двата сина се препознаваме сите луѓето. Во првиот дел од параболата се зборува за помладиот син кој што заминал од татка си во “далечна земја, па кога се нашол “во мака” се покајал и се вратил назад во татковиот двор. Другиот дел од параболата кажува за односот на постариот син кој останал на имотот на татко си и не прекршил ниедна негова заповед.
Првиот дел од параболата за блудниот син би требало да е сосем јасен. Меѓутоа другиот дел кој говори за постариот син изгледа малку потзаскриен и не му обрнуваме доволно внимание. Точно е дека главната тема на приказната е за блудниот син, но и на делот за праведниот син, исто така има потреба да му се даде значение. Зашто, ако обрнеме повеќе внимание, ќе видиме дека и едниот и другиот се откажале од својот татко во свое време. Разликата е во тоа што едниот се откажал, па се покајал и се вратил, другиот цело време останал при татка си, но на крајот „му се налутил“ и останал надвор од заедницата со својoт татко, брат и сите дуги кои учествувале во трпезата на угоеното теле, односно oстанал надвор од Црквата и Cветата Eфхаристија.
In the younger son, from the Gospel reading we notice the freedom and the awareness with which he addresses his Heavenly Father and that he seeks something that he feels naturally belongs to him, but also we notice that he obviously does not understand the very nature of the “livelihood (property, inheritance)” whose division he requires. “The portion of the livelihood” is the fullness of God’s grace, which we all receive in our hearts on the day of the Holy Baptism. It is from us alone and from our free will which determines, how we would behave towards this grace.
From His perspective, God’s only concern is not to disturb our freedom, and thus our mutual relationship: Parent – child. We have nothing more important than this relationship! This relationship is the only hope for our salvation!
Кај помладиот син, од евангелското четиво, ја забележуваме слободата и свесноста дека Му се обраќа на својот Отец Небесен и дека бара од Него нешто што чувствува дека природно му припаѓа, но исто така, забележуваме дека тој, очигледно, не ја сфаќа и самата природа на „имотот“ чија поделба ја бара.
„Делот од имотот“ е полнотата на Божјата благодат, која сите ние ја примаме во нашите срца на денот на Светото Крштение. Од нас самите, од нашата слободна волја, зависи како ќе се однесуваме кон таа благодат.
Бог, од Своја страна, единствено внимава да не ја наруши нашата слобода, а со тоа и нашиот заемен однос: Родител – дете. Ние немаме ништо поважно од овој однос! Овој однос е единствената надеж на нашето спасение!
The main event and essence of this feast is the meaning of the actual meeting. Our personal meeting with God, with our brother/sister and with ourselves. From that meeting happiness emanates and for us it should be a celebration.
My meeting with God, with my brother/sister, should be the cause of my happiness and joy, as the righteous Simeon experienced. We can only imagine what that meeting was like and how he felt at that moment. At that point in time, the whole meaning of life was fulfilled for him and that is why he wanted to pass away immediately, to turn that meeting into eternity. This meeting with the Lord becomes a victory over death and it is a true freedom.
